Dunoon Film Festival 14-16 June

We are pleased to announce that the first Dunoon Film festival will take place from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 June 2013. Based at Dunoon’s historic Burgh Hall, the festival will celebrate the best of Scottish filmmaking past and present, with revivals of neglected classics and showcases of emerging talent, whilst showcasing films from around the globe that invite the viewer to travel, explore and dream of distant places. We will welcome some special guests to Dunoon, and host exciting events for the whole family.

We are committed to returning the Burgh Hall to the heart of the community as an accessible, arts-led venue and will achieve this by encouraging and inspiring current and future generations to explore our heritage, to engage in diverse cultural opportunities and to work together to create a sustainable facility.
